(The varieties of worships)
. It should be of eight kinds. Now l tell its varieties. The worship is known as being of eight sorts, three superior, three medium, two inferior.
The worship done specifically at each yama (four three hour division in a day) during the four yama-s in the nights, according to prescribed rules, will Ix the highest of the superior worships.
. If one does the worship specifically in four yama-s during day and three yama's during night, that will be the medium of the superior worships
The worship done at six time-junctures, four in the day and two in the night, will be the lowest of the superior worships.
The worship done in the morning, at noon, in the evening. at the second and fourth time-junctures in the night will be the highest of the medium worships.
. The same, less the worship of mid-nights will be the medium of the medium worships.
. The worship done in the morning, at noon and in the evening will be' the lowest of the medium worships.
The worship done in the morning and evening will be the highest of the inferior worships..
The worship done once will be the medium of the inferior worships.
One does not see a lowest among the inferior worships of the Linga Therefore it is ascertained in the Tantra that there are eight kinds of worships
